Beautiful Recitation : Sesuatu yang menusuk Kalbu....

Assalamu'alaikum w.b.t dear akhi and ukhti,
brothers and sisters, fellow friends near and far =)

I just wanna share one of the most touching recitation which brought myself to tears.

Reciter: Sheikh Mishary Al-Afasy (My Favourite)

Surah Fussilat (Meaning 'Explained in Detail')
Surah no. 41
Also known as : Ha Meem As-Sajdah
Ayat : 19-36

'Tears are prayers too. They travel to Allah SWT when we can't speak'

Program 'I want to touch dogs' - My point of view.

Assalamu'alaikum w.b.t dear akhi and ukhti,
brothers and sisters, fellow friends near and far =)

So when I know such event held, the first thing that came to my mind was:
1. Why is  this being held by the Organizer?
I understand that the event was approved by JAKIM and there were a few 'Ustaz' facilitating the event to demonstrate 'Samak/Sertu'.

Even curious to know more I digged further.
To my surprise the reason they did the event was as to make people (including muslims less afraid of the dog????

&*^^%$£"%

Quoted by this article :

" 'Four-legged friends helped close a cultural gap in Malaysia during a unique event that invited Muslims to pet dogs — some for the very first time.
The "I Want to Touch a Dog" event, held in Central Park in Petaling Jaya, attempted to dispel myths about canine cleanliness. Some Muslims believe dog fur and saliva is unclean, and prefer not to keep them inside their homes."

This is what I gotta say:

Cube fikirkan, kalau dh kita saja2 usik sbb xnk rasa takut (which in the first place mmg xperlu takut pun sbb bukan Islam ajar tok takut anjing babi etc) apa RELEVANT nya hukum tadi sebab orang leh fikir 'takpela sentuh jela nnt leh samak'?

Hope this changes your perception..

Thursday Reminder : To always be Grateful

Assalamu'alaikum w.b.t dear akhi and ukhti,
brothers and sisters, fellow friends near and far =)

How's Thursday for a start? Have you taken your lunch?
Hope all is well with you and beloved families.

I just wanna share which I learned about these 2 verses from Surah Yunus Ayat 12 and 19.

@photo by farah

It's amazing sometimes to see how many human beings, never take a moment to feel and breathe the air, watch the sun rising, clouds dispersing, birds singing/chirping etc. We fail to take such moments to thought or heart, and to thank our creator for placing it there for our sight, our wonder.

Perhaps one day when it is gone, we totally forgot how it feels to have one before..
I think in this fast pace life and environment where money and material are much important, we lack and at a point lost the whole connection once we had with Allah SWT ever since we are young.

But when obstacles or calamity or even problems come knocking at our doors, we supplicate and pray so that He takes it away..but what about after that?

Are we being grateful these days?
Are we putting this living + business of this worldly life a reason not to do HIS commands?

Maybe we should altogether take a step back,
take this weekend to think and be grateful...
and consistently make supplication and prayers...

For this 2014 has been a real challenge to us all...and indeed it is a sign for us to get together as 1 ummah.

Just like this Surah Yunus clearly states that we are all as 1 :

Wukuf Di Arafah : 9 Zulhijjah yang penuh bermakna

Assalamu'alaikum w.b.t dear akhi and ukhti,
brothers and sisters, fellow friends near and far =)

Hope all of us are having a barakah Friday, whatever you have planned Allah SWT permits it, and hope all when on smoothly.

Well this month of Zulhijjah really special to most of us, muslims around the globe. Especially those who are performing the Hajj.
I am glad Allah SWT gives me the direction, well of course HE had open my heart in the first place so that I may turn back to him stronger than before.

I am not pious, even far from being pious but I am just someone who is willing to share all that I have.

So in this beautiful day and I would consider one of the important day as a muslim, let me share some Infographics of this Special month.

So sacred are the first ten days of Zulhijjah that Allah SWT swears an oath by them when He (SWT) says in the Quran:

وَالْفَجْرِ وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ
"By the dawn; by the ten nights (i.e. the first ten days of the month of Zulhîjjah)"
(Surah al-Fajr 89:1-2)

Oct 4th 2014 (Malaysia), Oct 3rd 2014 in Mecca: Day of Arafat. “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the day of Arafat. He comes close and expresses His pride to the angels saying, ‘What do these people (the Hajis) want?’” ~prophet (pbuh)[Saheeh Muslim]

So take you time these 2 days to do more Ibadah with pure sincerity just for the sake of Allah SWT.
We never know if we are able to see Zulhijjah again next year.
Definitely this year's Zulhijjah will never be the same as the one coming next year.

We work 24hours for our own selfish desire, just this days take your time alone to talk to Allah SWT for Allah SWT loves all of His creation dearly.

May all of our prayers and dua be heard and materialized...InshaALLAH.
Have faith in Allah SWT for he NEVER broke a single promise.
He only takes the bad and gives the Best to Us.

For t hose who are fasting today and tomorrow may you be rewarded handsomely by the Lord Almighty, InshaALLAH dan Selamat Berpuasa =)

Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.

Happy Eid Al-Adha in advance darlings !!!

Reminder 2 : Purify your heart with kindness

Assalamu'alaikum w.b.t dear akhi and ukhti,
brothers and sisters, fellow friends near and far =)

Today I would like to bring you something which I personally think really affecting our life.

People's Perception + The Reaction

I am sure you have no idea what this has got to do with the quote I put above the  post?
You will see eventually when the lesson is finished.

I think I would be lying if I said I don't care about people's perception and reaction towards my daily life, coz in a way it is affecting my reaction towards these whole thing; LIFE
But as I grow older, trying to understand people and think further why this is happening...
I realized 1 thing.

You CAN NEVER change PEOPLE.
Kids, Youngsters, teenagers, old and folks...
Never.
Simply because their environment of up-bringing totally not the same as you even if we are walking on the same earth.
Even if someone claim that he/she understands you...they will never be able to understand 100% coz we are all running the same path but different shoes.

But at least people who try to understand you and give you comfort are the ones who truly care.

Due to these differences, we must learn that :

a) People has the right to say anything about you; you cant stop them
b) They can pretty much influence you; be it in a positive or negative way.
c) They do not necessarily has to agree/follow you; sometimes you are alone in whatever you do or whatever that you stand for....

But you have to remember this too...In Islam, it has always never about how people treat you that is important, or how people perceive you and whatnot...

I remember this wise saying by Khalid Al-Walid r.a. -

"It is your scroll of deeds, so fill it with whatever you wish"
- Khalid Al Walid to the man who was insulting him.
and another one I got from web saying :

So Islam has never thought us to react in negative way to those who react negative to you or say bad worth to those people. We do not know why exactly people reacted such way, but as a Muslim we can only feel pity and sorry and return the way they treated us in the kindest way..if we fail/ cant do it then make yourself a distant.

Remember that the only one that you have to take care of is the relationship between you and Allah SWT. How they treated you or behave around you is totally between them and Allah SWT.
After all we will be judged based on what we do...not what others do.

When peopl give so much negativity to you, you can only rely to Allah SWT to take them away and always think that you have a choice to be affected by it or stay happy for you and for them.

It is totally your call and responsiblity.
What others do doesnt really matter...what matter most is what you do.
So before you start cursing/ judging those around you, think of why they did such think. If you cant get the answer it is sufficient enough to think good of them and leave them if they are bothering you.
Better still if you have a good heart, pray and make dua for them so that they may change..InshALLAH.

In Islam, we dont fight negativity with negativity...but kindness. It is all depend on how our heart can take it.

May this post brings benefits to those who need it.
Perhaps an eye-opener to those searching for Allah SWT's Nur.

Have a blessing and Barakah Friday ahead !

Reminder 1 : Do we think Allah SWT enough?

Assalamu'alaikum w.b.t dear akhi and ukhti,
brothers and sisters, fellow friends near and far =)

Do we think Allah SWT enough?

“When a slave’s morning and evening is filled with spending time to worship Allah, Allah will then help him with all of his needs and help him with everything he wishes. He (Allah) will also fill his heart with love towards Allah for Allah, his tongue with Dhikr, and his body parts with obedience to Him.

Itulah Jahiliyah

Life After Marriage : Painful Love but worth the fight and patience...Definitely.

Assalamu'alaikum w.b.t dear akhi and ukhti !

FYI
Akhi = My Brother Ukhti = My Sister

Those words originated from the Arab if I am not mistaken.

Anyway this is not the reason I put up this entry =) Just incase if you all wondering the meaning of the words (^^)
I will have a few series of entries on Life After Marriage for sharing purposes including :

Love + Sharing + Da'wah

___________________________________________________________

So let's start with
-LOVE -

You know, before you get married, like a couple of months before you and hubby take the 'Akad' ..you will find yourself at a point where you think so deep of your future.
Like what it is going to happen after marriage? How your life's going to be then? Are you able to live through it? It is going to be difficult..so many other questions and yet you don't have the answers..all of it.

It happened to me.

With all the questions gushing in the brain (like can he support me financially? can I make him happy? what if problems come too soon? where do we live? countless questions sometimes you are being exaggerated)
simultaneously with the wedding preparation (that includes other which I classified as environmental (mother wanted this extra etc. omit this and that, change here and there) + non-environmental problems like (budget etc)...you tend to become more emotional day after day..

When the day becomes closer, the tension rise like no other.
So that's why some relationship didn't get through last minute.
That's why some weddings have been called off, to some unfortunately.

Now I understand.
Alhamdulillah....I passed.

But I have to tell you 1 thing.
Getting back to faith provides me the love and understanding at the time I needed it most.
Coz you can just imagine, all these issues are tearing you apart bit by bit and by the time you are losing your momentum, then the shaytan will come whispering and started to tell you bad things which makes you think you are not gonna make it through etc.
So all this misery is all part of the challenge for two souls to become one.

Maybe some people did not go through such event, maybe there is but not as much.
Different people, different circumstances..maybe some are very fortunate not to go through such event at all, maybe they encounter it after marriage, who knows...but early marriage is tough in all aspects.

When this happens, you know what you knew before about love was totally the opposite.
Yes, you may have read articles about it, or maybe gone through 3rd party experience.

But
It will never be the same as the one that goes through it.
Why?
Because , you will be the one who will make the decision, feel it yourself and get all emotional-hooked up by the events that you are experiencing.

Personally,
It was all -worth it.
WORTH IT
This is Love...a love that teaches us to endure pain, stress, money matters, emotional roller coaster and makes us become even stronger, more patient and understanding that ever.
It is not just about sharing one life with 2 person in it but more of discovering the other side (bad or good) that makes you become more tolerant/patient or less that you were before.

Sacrifices that you have to make in order to give support to each other.

That is Love; True Love.

It ain't the fancy dinner you treat before him/her, It ain't the precious you gave him/her before,
and It ain't the emotional words you speak to him/her expressing you devotion and vow towards your commitment in marriage.

So brides-to-be or grooms-to-be .... be Happy coz you are one step closer to Jannah.
And you should know, a step to A Beautiful Jannah will never be easy and that is why what you go through here is putting you down coz you are already on the way up.
Take it easy and be ready.

So keep fighting with faith that Allah SWT always want the best in you..and
Never question whether you or him are meant to be or not.
Whether He is financially stable or not?
Whether He can do this or that or not?
Can we survive?

STOP.

Just think this, proposals/mariage only Opens when Allah SWT permits it.
So if he propose to you, means Allah SWT wants it to happen.

So keep moving forward, enjoy the trouble-some stuff and you sure gotta be
the Happiest  Raja Sehari.
InshaALLAH.

Cheeriossss
XOXO

Not-note:
I can see men, dont seem to really..erm well emotionally and spiritually affected (I can see men still sleeping like a baby despite problems haha)
Wifes do....after all, women are multi-tasking, emotional and a bit bit more sensitive than men and that is why we are so messed up. haha
