Remember last Sunday I went to a bookstore in Chowrasta and I have this one book as a gift from the owner?
I've finished reading today (Monday) in just a few hours, leaving me thinking and teary.
Yes this one particular book got me all teary-eyes.

Call me late bloomer, I only knew about 'the greatness'  and how this 'worldwide bestseller phenomenon' book touched thousands of hearts during 1970s (and still counting)

There was also a movie based on this book which came out later that year, also a hit.

 A big hit. Both the book and the movie.

GOSH.

I wasn't even alive when this came out.hehe

 What I can tell ?

The writing was simple and easily understood. 

The movie too was a direct translation of the book (thats what I've read from people's review -havent seen one yet)

But I think its simplicity is part of what's so great about it...really.

Cliche of rich boy and poor girl dating, and fell in love.

It's generally what might have been your  typical soppy chick flick that would have probably be the best one of its kind...

Anyway, it worked for me.

 Both the movie and the book.

 It hits all the right emotional buttons, and although I'm not one to usually cry over films or even books per se, this one certainly had me in tears. =(

Without a doubt, the greatest romance film ever made between the 1970's

Update 3 : The Final Installment - My book of the month

Yes, this is the final installment of my on-hold posts (remember I was missing like 2 weeks plus so these updates are actually posts I've been wanting to share but didnt hv the time to publish)

This month alone I bought 3 books. My recent visit to Kinokuniya was as usual exhilarating. I always get overwhelmed with books around me.

This book is about Euphemisms or easily know as comfort words. You know like when we talk particularly about topics such as the body parts, bodily waste, sex and so many other things....we dont usually say it directly right? Like the phrase private parts mean ******** or perhaps like call of nature means ****** and so much more. So this book is basically about that. Stories of people and examples of daily life when people actually converse to each other using respectful terms to replace dubious terms =P. Its funny really.

A hard thing to explain but I hope u understand. You will understand better if u get yourself a copy =P

BOOK 2

1001 ways to relax

Oke this book is really simple. Full of  sweet and colourful illustrations expressing ways to relieve your stress and find the perfect calm in 1001 ways. When u read through you will find things that you dont realize is in front of u that will help so much in beating our own enemy; stress.

If you have that extra cash, try this one =P

Who says I dont need a camera book? See?? I am not all expert....still learning new skills and techniques !

Its obvious from the title. The best part is that you dont need DSLR or SLR camera to take good photos really. All you need is a digital camera of any kind and from there you are one step ahead of becoming the best photographer =P With proper technique, skills and camera settings I am sure you will be a master  in no time!

This book tells how to take photos from people to nature, portrait to events and many more! Worth buying =P

Books for Ramadhan Reading....

Hopping each and everyone of you are doing well...we've been fasting for a week now. Just wanna share with you what I have bought online for this month's reading...a way of keeping myself intact especially this Ramadhan. If I am not going for Tarawih i will be busy doing something else and also spending some time reading these books...its a lot...so better start now ! =p

I bought this first book from MPH Alamanda when I was doing my data collection last 2 months and I found this book so interesting...how they put the words and how they address the issue is so fascinating...especially agama books?

Well i have doubts years ago coz I thought its kinda boring and really haeavy reading (yea I know I am not that type of girl who goes for agama reading..not until now)

This book is Soal Jawab Remeh Temeh Tentang Solat..tetapi Anda Malu Bertanya.....this was my first book for this particular set  and I fell in love with it. As I was looking for other series at  nearby bookstores I found that it was really hard to get titles that I was looking. Different bookstores different titles..so in order to get all the titles needed I have to go to every bookstores in town????

No way.

So I searched online at Telaga Biru and lucky me they were having discounts for this fasting season !

New added Goal ! Financial Independent= Goal 51

Oke, looking at my current stage now...it is impossible but if I dont start working on getting my financial planning then I am doomed !

I am worried coz I am already 2* years old oke...and my savings oh dear.kinda pathetic but at least I have some savings done, the total is enough for me to buy a new set of sofa ! Relatively low coz I dont do savings on monthly basis, when I have extra I dump the money in there but when I am not which sometimes can go on for months before my next saving it is just there stagnant!

So yesterday I bought this books on finance and investment and I have finished reading it too.  Two good books, easy to understand especially those who do not have any financing or accounting background !

Bought both books from BORDERS =p

Both books are written by local authors which become my main reason in buying. why? these two books can pretty much relate to our current state of market and pattern.

What I have learned from these books? I will share with y'all in my next entry. pretty basic in laying out your financial planning.

One thing I have learned...before you want to invest or actually do your financial planning, you need to educate yourself first, coz you are the greatest asset !

What the book is all about?

Its a fact book definitely, facts that will frighten or bejeezus out of you. The good thing is all facts listed from 1 to 1001 are all based on a source i.e websites, books,newspaper, journals. and the best part is yet to come....do you know what makes this book even more interesting ?

Every facts listed...the author makes a joke about it. You will be laughing your lungs out of nowhere..seriously....hahaha The best humorous book with actual facts I've ever read !

The reason of buying the book?

Well I went to DATUM KL recently so I thought I should grab myself a few books just to fill up the time in case I got bored (unfortunately the speakers mostly were oke) so I read the book while I was on my way back to Penang..and I finished reading it in a DAY ! hahaha so hilarious that I just have to finish that up =P

For those who think they know it all..should get one yourself.hahah you will undiscover some truth you just dont wanna know.muahahahhaahah.
